2011 Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce the 2011 recipients of Lady Mary Burns Kennedy Scholarship Fund awards!

The primary scholarship was awarded to Anne Thomson of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Anne’s scholarship will help to further her dancing studies as she aspires to compete in the World Championships in Dunoon, Scotland in August. Anne was the first runner up in the North American Championships in 2010.

The secondary scholarship was awarded to Gabriel Ran Nierman of Raleigh, North Carolina. Ran is a piper who will be attending the North American Academy of Piping and Drumming in Valle Crucis, North Carolina.
