Lady Mary Burns Kennedy Scholarship Fund
The Kennedy Society awards annual scholarships to students of Celtic arts such as dance, pipes, drums, harp, fiddle, and language arts.
The qualifications for a student to receive a Kennedy Society scholarship are:
- Plan to attend a certified workshop/class/camp of instruction.
- Documentation of certification of the workshop/class/camp or instructor.
Preference goes to Kennedy society members and relatives of Kennedy Society members, but others are eligible. A scholarship award covers the cost of workshop/class/camp registration, up to $100.
To apply, print and fill out the scholarship application. The application is in Portable Document Format (PDF), which requires a viewer such as the well-known Adobe Reader or the smaller and faster Foxit Reader to view. Both of these viewers are FREE.

A resumé and letter of recommendation from the students teacher are required.
The deadline for scholarship applications is April 1.
